Kiss Me Kate: 2-Disc Karaoke CD+G

Winner of the Tony for Best Musical on Broadway in 1949, Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate also won Best Musical Revival in 2000.  Considered to be his most successful musical, Cole Porter wrote both the music and lyrics for the show.  Kiss Me Kate presents a humurous twist on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, recounting the behind-the-scenes romances of actors staging a musical version of the play.  "So In Love" is among the most famous songs from the show.

Our accompaniment/karaoke CD of Kiss Me Kate features the show key and tempo of the revival.  There are 42 tracks on this album: Tracks 1-21 contain the background tracks and guide vocals; tracks 22-42 contain the accompaniment tracks alone.  This album is a re-recording in the original show key and show tempo.

About Our Album Format All our albums include professionally recorded guide vocals.  Each song appears on the album twice: once with music and vocals, and once with accompaniment tracks alone.  This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks.  Our karaoke albums are recorded in the CD+G format.  When played on a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen.  In a conventional CD player no graphics will appear onscreen, however, a booklet of the lyrics is enclosed in the CD jewel case.  CD+G albums will play in any CD player.
